When Should I See an Orthopedic Specialist?
An orthopedic specialist (such as our own Dr. Scott Fujii) may be recommended for a variety of reasons.
Some of the signs it’s time to contact our office and request an appointment for orthopedic care include:
- You have difficulty performing normal, everyday activities.
- Your pain is chronic – typically defined as lasting longer than 12 weeks.
- You have limited range of motion in any of your joints.
- You lack stability when standing or walking.
- A soft tissue injury you sustained is not improving.
This is not an exhaustive list of the reasons to pursue an orthopedic expert. If you have any questions or concerns you believe may need orthopedic care, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be glad to help you determine the next steps you should take.
